About Livadeia

Livadia or Levadia is a city of Sterea Hellas. The city is at an altitude of 160 meters, in the northwestern part of the prefecture, 130 kilometers northwest of Athens and 30 kilometers from the nearest coast of the prefecture (Distomo Beach, where the settlement of Aspra Houses is the port).

Regarding the natural landscape, the city is located at the western end of the Copais plain, at the foot of Mount Helikon, which rises to the south of the city. Extremely important in the creation and development of the city is the small river of Herceania, which runs through the city.
